Issue history
Key-issue reading notes
Plain-language notes on why a Marvel NFT comic listing is treated as a key issue: first appearances as credited, numbering jumps, and event placement.
A key-issue note from this desk is a reading memo, not a price target. We start with the issue number as printed or as encoded in the listing title, then we check whether the NFT comic is presenting a full story issue, a cover homage, or a collectible that reprints a famous splash without the original interior.
For Marvel NFT comics, “key” is often used loosely. We separate three layers: the original periodical history of that issue, the way the NFT drop packages the cover, and any credit line that names a creative team. If those layers disagree, the note says so in ordinary English.
Collectors in Thailand often ask whether a drop is the issue they remember from a printed long box. We answer that by lining up issue codes, cover dress, and story titles. We do not invent first-appearance claims that the listing itself does not support.
If you want this work for a specific drop, send the listing title and issue number by email. We reply with a written brief. Rates are listed on the rates page. Nothing on this page is a purchase of a digital comic.
