About

About the Bangkok issue desk

Panel Craft Base began as a Saturday table on Rama IX where printed Marvel back issues sat beside screens showing NFT comic drops. The desk still treats both as sequential art that needs issue numbers, not as tokens that need a pitch.

Bangkok city buildings under a bright sky

Mission

We write issue notes so a collector can tell a story issue from a cover object, a variant from a reprint-style file, and a crossover detour from the title they actually meant to follow. The audience is people who already care about Marvel comics as issues, including readers in Thailand who follow NFT drops after work.

Origin

The first notebooks were ordinary school exercise books. Arisa Thongchai logged cover letters; Niran Kade chased numbering restarts; Mali Prasert timed drop-week reading orders for a small club that met near a print shop. When NFT comic listings multiplied, the same habits transferred: title, number, cover, credits, then a one-line placement in the run.

The office remains at Level 7, 67 Rama IX Road, Bangkok 10310. Visitors who call ahead can look at printed reference copies. We do not keep digital wallets on the premises.

Expertise

The desk is bibliographic, not speculative. We read credit boxes, compare trade dress, and keep a house index of how Marvel NFT comic listings title themselves. We are not graders, not dealers, and not a publisher. We do not draw official characters for this site; decorative bursts and original panel frames are ours.

People

Arisa handles variant stacks and homage covers. Niran maps long runs and event crossovers. Mali writes collector briefings and keeps the Issue Ledger field list in language a non-programmer can file against. All three still pull printed issues from a shared long box when a digital cover looks too cropped to trust.

Working approach

A brief starts when you email an issue title. We confirm the listing name in writing, draft the note, and send it back as a page you can print. We do not take form submissions on this website. If a question is faster by voice, call +66 2 555 4360 during ordinary Bangkok office hours.

Values

Independence is a working rule. Panel Craft Base is not affiliated with Marvel Characters, Inc., Marvel Entertainment, LLC, The Walt Disney Company, Veve, or Binance Holdings Ltd. Character names appear only so an issue can be identified. Compatibility language, including optional Binance-compatible record fields in the Issue Ledger, names a data format habit and not a partnership.

Community

We share desk journal pages publicly so a reader who never hires us can still learn how to file an NFT comic issue. Clubs may print those pages. We ask only that reprints keep the disclaimers attached.
